Outlook's bold redesign on iOS is now available for everyone
In December, Microsoft began rolling out a refreshed interface for the Outlook app on iOS. At the beginning, the new look was making its to anybody slowly, simply, as of today, it's now available to anybody, Outlook's product lead Michael Palermiti announced on Twitter today.
The biggest alter with the redesign is that information technology's now a lot more than colorful. The top of the inbox is now dominated by a blue header that Microsoft designed to help you more than easily identify Outlook when you're speedily switching betwixt apps.
The updated app also integrates some sensory feedback when you're using swipe gestures in your inbox. You'll now see some "subtle" changes in color, shape, and iconography when you swipe left or right on an email. "The corners of the message transform from hard-edged to soft and round, metaphorically pulling that detail away from the message listing and sending it where you want it to go—with haptic feedback," Microsoft said when it revealed the redesign in December.
In the agenda portion of the app, you'll now be able to slide an event around to notice a time that works for all attendees. You can as well now take action on events, allowing you to do things like check in to flights directly from the app.
If you're using Outlook on iPhone or iPad, the redesign should be available for anybody at present on the App Store.

More new features
App folders in Start, new gestures, and more are coming to Windows 11 before long
Microsoft is gearing up to release a handful of new features for Insiders in the Dev Channel on Windows 11, many of which will re-introduce functionality that was missing in the original aircraft build of the Bone. It's been two weeks since the last Dev Aqueduct build was released, which got me wondering if anything is going on internally to warrant this break in build releases.
